On April 3, 2018 the European Commission signed the Graphene Flagship’s Core 2 contract, securing funding for and launching the project’s third phase. The contract will cover costs over the period of  April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2020.   Pre-financing totaling 80% of the project cost will be sent to the coordinator in the next 30 days.
